Indulge your curiosity for the world’s newest tech at Microsoft Inspire 2018!

Inspire offers the latest information on all your tech needs and curiosities. 3Sharp’s Scott Hill tells us that even with his busy schedule, he finds the time to stop by his favorite booths.

What is your title and role at 3Sharp?

I am an associate solutions consultant. I do a little bit of everything.  I work on QA (Quality Assurance), device and asset management, event support, and I help on the Go Team as well.

What do you most look forward to learning about at Inspire?

I would like to know more about Artificial Intelligence (AI). I find it fascinating the way Microsoft is using AI for analytics, virus scanning, and other ground-breaking functions. Seeing AI applied to real-world problems, as opposed to just having bots you can talk to, makes it a lot more practical and, at least to me, more exciting! I also want to see more about cloud infrastructure, and where Microsoft is taking Azure. I will be on the lookout for clues as to what Microsoft will be focusing on in the future.

Are there any Speakers you want to see?

I want to see Satya Nadella.  I’m a big fan and he is a great orator! Also looking forward to seeing Julia White. Her attention to detail, her active stage presence, and the way she speaks during her presentation – it takes audience engagement to the next level.

What will you be doing at Inspire?

I will be providing Tier 1 event support for Julia White and her demo, as well as helping Richard Thomson, another 3Sharp employee, in his support of Satya Nadella. Basically, I’ll be the person working magic in the background, and ensuring everything goes off without a hitch!

Do you plan to do anything fun while in Las Vegas?

I don’t know for sure. I’m from Las Vegas, so the glitz and glam don’t necessarily appeal to me. But, as a first-time attendee, I’m curious to see what the conference has to offer and hope to do a little bit of everything.

In the spirit of Inspire, what is your favorite inspirational quote?

This quote always inspires me to stay curious and learn as much as I can, which is exactly what I will be doing at Microsoft Inspire 2018.
