Key Deliverable

We are seeking a proficient, customer-facing Project Manager to lead and guide development and implementation projects from inception to completion.

  • Drive the end-to-end software development project across various functional teams, from resource planning through deployment
  • Set and manage expectations with clients and the internal team around timelines, scope and budget
  • Develop and manage the project plan within a scrum framework (task list, schedule, resource assignments) all within Microsoft TFS
  • Manage internal and external project communications with clarity, including meeting facilitation, weekly status reporting, and project information/documentation management
  • Work to remove blocking issues impacting the project schedule and scope
  • Drive sign-off/approval from clients and the internal team on key deliverables

If you’d like to apply, here are things we’d love to see…

  • 5 years project management of software development projects on 3 or more full lifecycle implementations
  • Minimum of 2 years leading projects using Agile methodologies
  • Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) in an Agile setting
  • Strong grasp of project metrics and reporting; project financial-tracking experience preferred
  • Deep involvement with Quality Assurance
  • PMP certification preferred (but not required)
  • Superlative written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (internal and external facing)
  • Deep customer-facing experience, including negotiation and relationship building
  • Proven ability to gain deep understanding of customer business goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to control scope, with experience in requirements-gathering and validation
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Schedule creation, management and prioritization, handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Issue and risk identification and resolution
  • Ability to execute and drive to completion in the face of obstacles
  • Organizational skills – ability to handle complex projects with many moving parts
  • Excellent follow-through, commitment and accountability
