You’re, uh, you’re probably here about the, Uh, the story.
Sharpies love to tell stories. I’ll bet you didn’t know that about Sharpies. There’s, uh, probably a lot of things you…you didn’t know about Sharpies. Another… another interesting, uh, Sharpie-ism, uh, we love a good holiday theme party.
And this year, the theme of the party was Elf.
Sharpies do ELF!
We hosted the party at Russell’s Restaurant and Loft. The décor for the evening was beautifully crafted paper chains and snowflakes (that were definitely made in our free time and not at all during meetings), just like in the movie.
The centerpieces were definitely the focal points of the tables:
In true Elf fashion, our menu was based around the four main food groups: Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corn, and Syrup! We had options of spaghetti, maple syrup, grilled cheese and tomato soup, maple syrup, beef and cheese plate, maple syrup, french toast, maple syrup, bacon, and a tiny bit of salad! Our menu wasn’t complete without the “The World’s Best” coffee and hot chocolate bar, with candy on the side.
And the holiday gift were Mason jars of gingerbread pancake mix and 3Sharp maple syrup… I’m assuming I’m supposed to use the maple syrup in my coffee??
Sharpie Holiday Celebrations
We pass through the seven levels of the Candy Cane Forest, through the sea of Twirly Swirly gum drops to…today’s Sharpie Holiday Cookie Swap and Holiday Happy Hour!
It’s been a fun way to end the year and get ready for the new year! Now I thought maybe, we could make ginger bread houses, and eat cookie dough, and go ice skating, and maybe even hold hands.
…or maybe I’ll start trying to come down off my sugar high.
