Fostering and supporting healthy work/life balance is a foundational principle of 3Sharp culture. Our work environment is full of people with unique interests, passions, and idiosyncrasies. We’re like a family, right down to sibling rivalry at the ping pong table. Are you wondering what we get up to when we’re not making amazing demos?

Tony Dowler

ITony is the creative mind behind some of our best demos. He’s also know for designing and illustrating table games and leaving intricate doodles around the office. Recently, for his work/life balance, Tony put his colorful illustrative skill to work and won the Stranger’s Adult Coloring Contest. Tony is also very generous and plans to share his winnings with his very supportive co-workers.

Mike Rand

When planning our kickoff event, we decided to embrace the upcoming winter Olympics and try our hand at curling.

After surviving a brain aneurism at the age of 40, Mike found himself turning back to his trusted 7 string. He says that playing is different now, and he has a new perspective when it comes to the journey of learning. Recently, to contribute to his music-based work/life balance activity, Mike attended NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) 2018 in Anaheim.

Matthew Romero

Every couple of months, Matthew shows up to our Monday All Hands meeting looking like he spent the weekend trying out for American Ninja. As it turns out, he’s been up to something possibly wilder. Spartan Race is a team oriented, obstacle race and it looks exceptionally tough and kind of bonkers. We think he’s nuts, but he’s part of the family.

  1. I think the work life balance is extremely imporant and it’s delightful to see your company also feels this way.

And… curling? Seriously? Whtat an amazing idea for a team event, I’ve never heard of a team curling together, that’s so cool!
